UX content uses storytelling to inform, educate, and engage the customer. The structure and flow of information is critical to the success of the user experience. Much of UX content is short form or microcopy, meaning every word is important. It takes a skilled writer to create content that is short and still conversational.

 CONSUMER SELLING

As part of the core design team for the eBay seller experience, I created content that simplified the selling process for C2C sellers.  This content included listing guidance on how best to sell your item, how to price it, and how to take and upload your photos. Everything I created was to help make first-time sellers successful.

Seller Hub was a new tool that I worked on for eBay’s B2B sellers. This tool gave sellers the ability to manage all of their selling activity in one spot, provided data on their selling performance, showed them market trends, and gave them tips on how to increase their sales.

BUYING EXPERIENCE

To build buyer trust and confidence in eBay, we rolled out the eBay Money Back Buyer Guarantee.

As the content strategist, I created content that showed how easy it is to return an item on eBay, while assuring the customer that eBay has their back and they are covered in case their purchase doesn’t work out.

One of the new concepts we introduced as part of the seller experience was the eBay Valet.  I created content that explained how professional sellers would list, sell, and ship your item for you. My content made the process easy to understand.
